Found Out About You (Gin Blossoms) - day 11
Much like my blogs - recalling the things I love like eighties sax and thumping disco beats and ballads that bring me to a state of sobbery - my choice of music relies a lot on repetition. I tend to like songs that are repetitive in beat and sound. Today’s song does not disappoint in this area: Found Out About You by nineties pop band Gin Blossoms.
There is something in the repetitive that draws me in with this song. Here we have a guy who is clearly obsessed with his girl, but she has clearly moved on and he can’t wrap his brain around that. Hmmmm, why would that possibly resonate within me??
I guess I can leave it there. Let’s just say it’s a good thing social media did not exist in 1993.
