Talk about a song that everyone can agree on as a happy, feel-good dance song! It’s the perfect party song, maybe even better than the ultimate wedding party song, Celebration by K&TG. Weirdly I don’t really associate September by Earth, Wind &Fire to the time period of its release; this is more of a recent love affair. I guess I’ve always known of its existence, among the cadre of amazing songs by this amazing mass-ensemble band, but ever since the first wedding of my BFF, it holds a dear space in my hole-riddled heart and always makes me happy. Does anyone know what the hell Philip Bailey is singing though? Is it 'Party On?' Doesn’t matter; September is catchy AF and we all karaoke the shit out of it when it’s on in the car. Don’t bother denying it. You want to amp up the mood in any gathering? Crank this song up and party-arty-arty on!
